it works well if you've got wrist strength. I like it pretty well, just wish my wrists were better.

I've only used these to cut 3/16” stainless steel wire rope. Fairly effortless clean cuts. The product info states these 18” cutters can handle up to 1/4” stainless steel rope and that seems about right.No real issues with quality – the jaws held up fine shearing hard stainless steel. I would think proper use and care will give these cutters many years of service life.

It has been cutting 1/4 inch steel wire rope just fine. I would buy this product again.

Works great I got it to cut copper battery cable and no problem cut through it like butter!

I ordered thede cutters because I had to put guide wires on some trees n my property and was destroying the cable with my right angle grinder you have to bust in a few blades and sending pieces everywhere I decided to order myself kind of after ordering these and waiting for them to arrive I immediately said about cutting the lengths of cable needed I could not believe how quickly and easily these she is cut through the 5/16 cable I was using for guidewise the hand was a long enough to give enough whatever to make it's very simple to cut through the cable the quality and attention to quality control was excellent performance how did my angle grinder by a mile I've also used it on cutting some zero gauge battery cable that I was rewiring a cable in front of my suburban these cutters are awesome. Judging how well these are made I will say they should last for a good long time I would definitely recommend these to anyone interested in them

This seems like a really heavy duty cutter that’s a budget level tool that really outperforms its pricepoint. Yes, it lacks some of the refinement that pricier cutters have and it isn’t pretty, but it’s made like a tank and works great. I’ve been using it on a barbed wire fence repair and barbed wire is some tough hard wire, but this thing slices through easily. No complaints, it’s a great cutter and I highly recommend it.
