Not strong enough for winch cable repair
I gave it a four star because I'm sure it's good for something. It is just not beefy enough to repair my winch cable on my side-by-side.

Thimble a little small for 5/32" cable
These are good quality wire rope clamps. The included 7mm tool to tighten the nuts is very useful. I tried the clamp on 5/32" cable as it worked as advertised. I would recommend adding some lock washers or thread locker because the nuts will come loose. The included thimbles are a little small for 5/32" cable as this tight of a turn tends to put a kink in the cable and weaken it. The thimbles would probably be fine for 1/8" cable which some of the other reviewers mention in their comments.
