Q: How much potassium is in a 1/4 teaspoon of this product?

1/4 teaspoon is 125 mg. The only cases I have read about were two bodybuilders who took 6 tablespoons at once, one mixed in soda the other mixed with water, as a cleanse. They were treated for hyperkalemia (too much potassium) at the ER and released. At 1500 mg/tablespoon that is 9 grams in one dose. The US has raised its recommended intake for potassium to 4700 mg per day. It is what you would get in about 12 cups of spinich or 15 bananas or 5 medium baked potatoes.
