Works great. Can’t be externally deadlocked so the key works in both directions. It can be internally deadlocked using the snib, but it’s possible to open up the lock and disable the snib functionality entirely if need be.

Good if you want low security inward opening lock. Ideal for Yale keyless touch on a glass door.
Obviously this is a very basic lock but it does the job. Ironically I found it more difficult to install than the much higher grade locks, particularly hard to mount it straight, but it does the job ok. I had to replace a British standard rated lock because it was causing difficulty with my Yale keyless smart lock on an outward opening glass door. Modifying the lock to open outward was annoying and the receiver is then useless. I would only recommend this lock for where you require minimal security on an inward opening door.That said, it's really easy to operate and relatively ergonomic, it's just that you can get a MUCH better lock for the money even within the Yale range so it's a very specific item. I wish it was easier to find an outward opening variant of it as it was a pain to modify compared to the very heavy £120 lock it replaced.

Great for restricted space
This nightlatch is the perfect solution if you want a latch for use in a tight or restricted area.An example of this is if you have a 'barn door' style front door where the back of the door isn't flush with the frame but the wooden battens are.You only need about 60mm width to install and the 40mm edge of door to key hold is the right distance for such doors.The quality is excellent and I'm not DIY'er but managed to install it easily.Tools: a 32mm wood boring hole, screwdriver and possibly a chisel.Good, sturdy and a good solution for a shut-and-forget door locking solution.

Great quality
Great solid lock that fitted perfectly. Replacing a non branded type, this is much better built and feels a lot more secure.

Sticks out too far from where the old one was. Another one for the bin
