Learning God's Love Language: A Guide to Personal Hebrew Word Study Paperback – February 14, 2018

I'm only in chapter two and can tell you this book is a keeper for any who loves the Word of God. I don't know where to begin to describe what amazing revelations of the Hebrew language it contains -- every page is a wonder and a joy. I wasn't sure if it would be too technical for me, as I am not a Bible scholar, just an ordinary elderly woman. The author hits the sweet spot where he shows new ideas without overwhelming the reader.This book is one I will go to again and again, it is deep and sweet.

The book is beautiful in its presentation, good paper and printing. The truth is that I did not expect so much depth in it and how it addresses the Hebrew letters, their meanings and countless references. It is a study book, you have to concentrate a lot when approaching it. Very happy with my purchase because that was exactly what I wanted.

Author gives a somewhat unique perspective that provides some additional insights and concepts to Christians, wanting to further connect with the Hebraic roots of the BIBLE through, letters. He does not base his evaluation of the hebrew on the paleo or proto cananite word pictures , but others things. Am enjoying what God is offering through the authors perspective & backround. The more we seek thr more we find. Hope you find this work as enjoyable as I do. This is not a casual read, & the there are not physical illistrations. The hebrew is in a traditional hebrew font. Not block or cursive script. The spelling is Saphardic not Ashkenazi. Slight differences. But as I said it is a good read to consider. The author has a non legalistic nor mystical appraoach. I appricate his efforts & joy in teaching for the benefit of layman, vs academia in this text.

A teacher is someone who educates you because they first educated themselves. Not only that, they are willing to learn more as well. That is why Chaim Bentorah is respected and appreciated. The insights gained in this book are not just amazing. They are significantly crucial to seeing, hearing, and believing how profoundly the Scriptures can impact your life. In other words, don't stay on the surface. Dig deeper!

Different

This author is gifted at explaining the meaning behind the letters of the Hebrew alef bet. I have enjoyed adding to my library. I've been learning to read and speak Hebrew with the goal of being able to read the Bible in it's original language. This is a fantastic tool to reach my goal.

This Author is my favorite Christian writer . I feel a calmness when I read his books that I can't explain . His books have helped open the Bible to me in many ways. Now for instance when Jesus said " I am the Alpha and Omega ." we know he means the First and the last . However if He was speaking Hebrew He would have said the Aleph and the Taw and that would add a much greater meaning to what He said . Find out the meaning of those two letters and see what I mean . All the letters of the Hebrew alphabet have meanings of their own .

This book is so good I read it in one day! A Chuck Missler video first pointed out for me how fascinating and deep Hebrew is. While searching for more on the subject, I found this author. I started with his smaller word study books. This one is my favorite and most helpful so far. The majority of this book explains each letter and many possible word meanings -and why- for you to do your own in depth bible studies with. The explanations of different ways to study are fascinating. This book made me want to hear the tonal sounds he mentions used to emphasize teachings of the Torah. So now I’m learning to chant the Torah from YouTube. This author has word studies on YouTube too. So interesting! All of Chaim Bentorahs’ books are eye-opening, goosebump causing gems!
