We knew we were going to go the cloth diapering route, but we weren't sure which style was going to work best for us, so my husband and I registered for a variety of styles (mostly one-size varieties). Our son was born at 6lbs 2oz, and all of the one-size diapers we had were too big. Fortunately, we had also registered for the small gPants too. They fit him fine and should last until he is about 14lbs. The diapering system is simple: place an insert in and you're good to go. Unlike some of the other diapers out there, these gPants can be used a few times (with fresh liners) before washes - we usually use one or two of the gPants per day, even though we're changing his diaper about 10 times per day (he's only 5 weeks old). Anyone who is looking into cloth diapering should definitely give these diapers a shot!

I love the concept of gDiapers. As a cloth newbie I thought that gDiapers were just what I was looking for. My baby girl is 3 months old and weighs about 13 lbs. I went ahead and bought a bunch of little gPants and gCloth. I love the absorbency and the ease of use. I had no leaking or smell issues whatsoever.However, they just never seemed to fit right and seemed very uncomfortable on my baby girl. I used Medium covers and they fit just fine (size wise) but the orange tabs that attach the pouches to the pants always left ugly red marks on her back and belly and she seemed uncomfortable. The only time she ever fussed in her carseat was when she was wearing gDiapers...I love the product but apparently they are not for us. We have since moved on to pocket diapers.

I have to say i was really excited about these diapers when I first got them. Unfortunately my son grew out of them by 10 lbs. He's long and skinny and they just never fit well. I love the hemp inserts but that's about all.The covers faded and the button part where you attach the plastic liner always digs into his skin no matter how loose we fasten the diaper on.Way overpriced for what you get and it only lasted us about 6 weeks. I wish I could get my money back.
