The only thing I don't like about this is that someone did it for me. I kind of wanted to set one of these up myself, but this saved me a lot of time. It works on both my fat and slim PS2. Boots both systems right into the FreeMcBoot menu. Launches games from the menu. Has lots of options and quite a few of them I haven't even tried yet. And I've had it too long for that to be the case. In fact the version I have is outdated already. I do not have a modded system so cannot review that functionality. For the ease of use and saving your time to prepare one of these this is a great value.

This memory card helped make setting up my PS2 to play homebrew a bit easier. Having this card saved me some steps and a bit of time and energy. I had to search the internet on how to use and operate this device as there are no provided instructions. I am happy to say that I now have my PS2 up and running homebrews and I’m having so much fun.

This basically lets you hack your ps2 so you can do stuff like back up your games to a hard drive or play homebrew games. It works great and I would recommend it for anyone looking to get more out of their PS2s.

Looking for a way to give more life to your ps2? after watching a few videos, this FMCB is like plug and play easy to use easy to setup and get everything going so you. really haven't had any issues.

Awesome stuff. Allows me to play backups of PS2 discs I own through either a USB drive or network. So no more scratching. Can also be used to with a few emulators. Be aware though, playing off a USB drive slot means slower loading times and FMV skips. Be sure to have a second card on hand for saving games. Do not use the FCMB card for that. BitFunX is one of the more well known in this area. At its list price it makes it easy to get into modding without physical modding. And it keeps my (sometimes expensive)discs clean and scratch free. Well worth it. Do make sure to check and see if it is compatible with your PS2 before getting one. And read up, there is a lot of documentation and things to learn if you are into it. Also, lots of video.

I really love this Free Mcboot card. It works exactly how its intended to work. However, you do need a hard drive along with the expansion bay tray in order to make everything work cohesively. If you're looking for an affordable free Mcboot card that works without any extra steps, look no further.
