I love this mat and hope to be helpful for you.It arrived with sections that were flat to the floor and my heart sank, but I washed this and the mat became puffed up and far better. The tag said to "hang to dry" so I was only able to use the OXO drying racks that I have. Worked just fine (I suspect the grippy spots on the bottom wouldn't fare well in the dryer?)My "coins" shots are lame, I know, but I am trying to show there is "puff" to this and w/4 quarters stacked, they don't reach the blanket height (as far as the depth is concerned).Now, this is definitely NOT anything plush or cushy like a carpet; I would not call it "thick." BUT, once puffed up it was fluffier.Again, it's still "close to the floor" but it serves my purpose and I am very happy with it. I love the cute and vibrant design, also.I hope you found this to be helpful!

Love this mat. I ordered this for my grandsons playpen. Love the Alphabet pattern and colors. Washes and drys great. So glad it got this as his playpen needed that little extra padding

This playpen and floor mat are fantastic. It's large enough to cover the entire area for my little one to crawl on. The play mat is easy to clean, non-slip, and machine washable. It's great for outdoor activities or traveling. The mat is thick, soft and comfortable for our baby's delicate skin. It's a great floor mat and provides a safe and clean place for my baby. I love this product and highly recommend it.

This May was thin and hard! Definitely wouldn’t recommend for hard flooring. Although the print is nice and it is non slip on the floor I wouldn’t let my babies use it in their play pen as the flooring underneath is tile therefore I’ll be returning.

The perfect, adorable background for monthly newborn photos! This pad is nice and thick, but soft on top and great for lying and playing on between those phot sessions. The print is so cute and the cut outs to mark the date have shapes to fit the theme. Love that you can definitely use this as a play mat and doesn't just function as a photo background.

This is a great play mat for infants and toddlers. It is very soft and comfortable. The texture of the fabric is also very smooth and keeps the infant comfortable. It's not just soft but it also has good amount of padding installed so it acts as a thin mattress which is so much more preferable than a regular mat. The sizes mentioned are accurate.

This is a super great mat. I like that it is dual purpose. You can use it for monthly photos and they can play on it. I would recommend!!

This play my super cute for mile stone photos for a baby. It’s pretty thin, but it makes it easy to store and wash. Comfortable material and works great for inside a playpen or a play Mat area.
