I had already had micro needling done in a skin care clinic and decided to give it a go myself. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube first and was pleasantly surprised at how easy the pen was to use. I have used once so far on a lower needle length to practice and it was certainly bearable, yet still leaving my face red. I will gradually increase the needle length as I continue to use the pen. The pen seems of a good quality and the one time use needles great for hygiene. Very pleased with the purchase and excellent to have extra sets of needles included.
