First and foremost (Find a NON commercial Welding shop). A professional welding job is needed. The screws only option is very unstable. The grill also needs a spot weld for the center latch for a secure fit. The entire welding job cost $80 and 25 minutes to complete. I went the screw only route and one of my tips fell off. Luckily there was a friendly driver behind me when it happened. You will be happy with the finished product. The welder instructed me to chrome polish the tips twice a month for maintenance.
