This is the real deal. The inventor of this technology would be proud. It functions well. I have benefited greatly from using it.The bottles are large and will last for over a year with many, many treatments.The bottles are very convenient for getting the exact number of drops. The best price o have seen.

Most of these solutions come from unknown origin, this one is labeled better. But I won't give it 5 stars because it makes the water taste strange (I tested with tap water).

Box with product had stains from leaking product because lid was not tight enough. Also, the package was advertised with usage instructions in the box. There were no instructions included with the product.

Chlorine Dioxide is a very common method for water purification, and I have used it on my long distance hiking trips instead of a filter. It works very well and kills all the little nasties that water tends to have in it when out in the wild. This works the same as the others, you mix a few drops of each bottle into a small cup and let it activate for a few minutes then add it to your water. It does have that distinct chlorine smell when mixed in water, but if you shake it vigorously for a few seconds then let it sit for a half hour then the smell and taste goes away. great stuff, and this is a excellent value for it in my opinion.

I ordered this set of water purification bottles to have on hand in case of any local water emergency where our water would become temporarily unsafe to drink. The instructions seem fairly clear and I like the fact that the water would be ready almost immediately, with no need to wait for water to slowly go through any type of filter.

This only requires 5 drops to treat 1 gallon of water. You have to mix the two bottles in equal parts (5 drops each), wait 30 seconds, and then add 1 gallon of water. There are 480 drops in an ounce, this is two ounces, so that means it will treat 192 gallons of water. It works quickly and has no impact on taste when mixed properly (5 drops per gallon of water).Note that this is a disinfectant similar to bleach so you should never drink or mix this in great quantities than the listed 5 drops per gallon. If you can taste this you probably added too much.The only issue is the quality of the dropper is not very good and the sides got all crusty with dried solution (see photo). This is great to keep on hand for emergencies. There’s no listed expiration date or manufacture date.

I got this to have just in case. While following the directions and taste testing the water it's drinkable. Not sure if it's because I already prefer my city tap water over other cities so it's not that bad.Will take some on our next camping trip to see but either way this will remain in our supplies since it's super easy to use and it can make a lot of clean water.
