My daughter liked these!
Bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she likes them a lot (12 year old). A surprise for me... I thought these were only for kids under 5 year old.

Fun, interesting flavors
These were fun to make and the flavors are interesting for sure.I personally wasnt a fan of the flavors because they tasted artificial but as far as fun factor - they were definitely entertaining!

Fun and silly edible craft!
This kit has absolutely everything you need. The packaging inside breaks apart into the molds you'll use to shape the pieces AND into the water cup you'll use to measure. It's really clever. I enjoyed discovering how it works, and there's an element of real magic in seeing the powder turn into putty, paste, icing, and everything else you end up making and using!I love having an edible craft activity that doesn't require me to go shopping or digging around in my kitchen drawers to find a lemon zester or something like that. The experience was fun and a bit campy or kitschy, which I like.My results were a bit messier-looking than what was on the box, but I'm confident that's due to my own lack of skill rather than to flaws in the kit! Everything was the right color, size, and amount. The kit wasn't hard to use and the directions were quite clear step by step for what to do. I'm just a little messy with my fine motor skills!Yes, you can really eat these. To my palate, the end results weren't especially scrumptious. The flavors are about as silly and artificial as you'd expect if you approach it as a toy you can eat rather than as a sophisticated dessert you can make. But even if they weren't exactly Top Chef material the flavors were novel and unique, and it was fun to try something new and different!I'd say this is a fun activity if you want to give somebody candy but also have an activity to do together instead of just handing them a pile of sugar to wolf down! Seems really ideal for an older child who will love the independence of being able to "make it" themselves.

Lots of fun for winter days
I got this for my 9 year old granddaughter so we would have something fun to do when the grandkids visit and the weather is bad. Both she and my 5 year old grandson had a blast with these. Cute and colorful, and enough in the pack to spread out over several visits. Easy to use and spark creativity.

weirdly wonderful kits to make miniature junk-food-shaped candy!
sort of like tasty PlayDoh except all the components start off as powders and the directions have you add precise amounts of water to each packet, using supplied teeny mixing vessels, and then you build the component pieces of candy from the various reconstituted ingredientsit's incredibly cool in totally tacky kind of wayeach one is complex enough to be a project on its own and perhaps so complex that it might be challenging to complete for a child young enough to be enchanted by itsort of edible do-it-yourself doll/dollhouse food

Very cute but end product looks nothing like photos
These are very cute and my granddaughter loves making them. They are difficult to make for a child though. The end product looks nothing like the cute pictures. Much much smaller than anticipated. Directions could be a little clearer.

Cute, yummy and fun to make
If you're into the novelty treats of Japan, these are perfect. They're cute and surprisingly easy to make. I've only used one but they were delicious and fun to follow the instructions for.
