A product that many children in the targeted age range would probably enjoy
This is a pair of spider-themed walkie-talkies for young children. Most of the body is of red plastic, with the antenna and the on/off switch (and an outline spider motif) in blue or black plastic. I’m not much in favour of plastic toys, but there we are. They are appropriately packaged in a box that might make them suitable as a gift for a young person. You do, however, need to insert three of your own AAA batteries into each set beforehand (i.e. six batteries in total). The operation is simple (ensure the on/off switch is set to ‘on’; double-click the side button to trigger a call tone on the other handset; press and hold the side button again when speaking). The sound quality is fine. In summary, this is a product that many children in the targeted age range would probably enjoy.

RANDOM VOICES OF MEN ON WALKIE TALKIE!
My children were playing with the walkie talkies, when all of a sudden they heard a man’s voice asking “where they are from?”, I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by this product. Luckily I caught it within the first 5 minutes of my children playing. Extremely unsafe!!

With two grandchildren, who fight over everything, it’s great to have a toy like this which they can both enjoy equally. Spiderman is always a big hit, so the design and decoration are ideal. They do require a lot of batteries 6 X AAA batteries in total, I would recommend some quality rechargeable ones. In use the radios are illuminated, so it’s easy to see if they are on or not. The range is ok indoors, with one kid upstairs and one downstairs they work fine. The sound quality is fine. I have a very expensive one in my shop for talking to the police and to be honest it’s no better than these. So, they look cool, are simple to use and work well. For the price, you can entertain two kids at the same time, so great value and highly recommended. And let’s be honest- you know you’ll want to have a go yourself!
