Perfect for the laser engraved coaster project we had. They also can be painted or wood burned with any image or design. Properly protected they will last a long time and are a fun project for kids or gifts.

I wanted some blanks to test out my laser engraver and create some unique gifts. These fit the bill and have provided me with several sets to give to friends this Christmas. Remember to seal them after adding your design so that they don't soak up moisture from the cups placed on them.

i do a lot of laser cutting and engraving. These are perfect for that. I am planning on making some anime inspired coasters for my wife. I will post some completed pics once I get them all done. These are lightweight coasters. All of them come with 4 circular padded feet that can stick on the bottom corners of each one. Can’t wait to show off the final results.

The coasters themselves are sanded well. The edge stain is slightly uneven but usable. However, the product page is intentionally deceptive. The first image on the page shows a coaster with productive pads as well as a sheet of protective pads. These are not included. This product is a box of 4 inch wood blanks that can be used as coasters. Nothing more. I do not believe the product page image is a mistake. I believe it is intentional.The price is reasonable but I cannot recommend a product that I see as intentionally deceptive. I have reported this product page.

These are wonderful for crafting, they are easy to paint, to wood burn on, to apply vinyl to as well! There are 30 of them and the non slip pieces are included and easy to adhere although I do recommend using a little extra adhesive with them to endure they stay in place if you are planning on using them as coasters or such! They are bit thin for coasters but would serve the purpose if one wished and are of good quality! Good value

These coasters are constructed from thin strips of wood that are glued together side by side to form the square shape. The unfortunate side effect of this is that if you're doing laser engraving on the coasters the lines of glue between the strips become very visible as they do not laser away at the same rate as the wood. That's a shame, because the wood itself responds very well to lasering and also takes oil-based stain quite well.My set of coasters *did* come with the little foot pads.
