This is a great bird fountain! Easy to assemble, and runs quietly. There is a blue light on the motor that turns red if there isn't enough water to flow. The clear base is great so you can see water level and know if the water has gotten dirty. The water flows smoothly and isn't too loud. The top is cute, mostly flat to allow the birds to stand in the water easily, with small drains to keep the top from overflowing. My budgies and lovebirds love to have baths daily, this lets them bathe to their hearts content!

Works great! Fits nicely in budgie cage. The only minor problem is…no assembly directions. I figured it out having previous fountain experience, but directions would be helpful. An added benefit is the sound of trickling water in the room!

My daughter has a similar bird bath that is sold as a water fountain for cats. Hers has a filter and an adequate lip around the edge to prevent overflow. Hers is also electric with a generous cord. This one looks like it has a small lip but mine was flat. It is not electric. It comes with a very short USB cable - no adapter - that would require it to be plugged in but where? The cable is so short I could not imagine how to position it where my birds could access it. Maybe I am missing something but there were no instructions at all. I returned it.

The motor doesn't make any noise, both on high and on low. Lights up, red when there isn't enough water and blue when there is. There aren't any instructions but assembly was pretty self explanatory, with little room for error.

I set the birdbath in a heavy plant pot filled with rocks to weigh it down. That raised the bath up off the cage floor about 4 inches and made it very stable. I filled the bath with warm water and the sound of moving water was so interesting to them. It took them a few minutes of observing, and then it has been nonstop in and out of the water. The size is perfect for parakeets and they are so happy. I just have a few questions about replacing the filter on the pump as it doesn’t give any directions about where to find them.

The design is nice, and although it doesn’t come with instructions, it’s quite intuitive to assemble. The size is too small for my lovebirds to bathe properly. At least one of them makes every effort to try to bathe, haha. I think it would be great if the fountain were slightly taller. It overflows quite a bit.

Not quite as described. Smaller than I thought a large one would be ... An African gray is not a small bird.... I ordered a large one and it's to small for my bird. It works well, but t think it needs to have a better description size wise
