Fantastic shower chair. Easy to put together and very sturdy when in use. It doesn't slip, and I feel very secure using it and love the fact that I can really enjoy showering again.

I wasn't expecting much, mum has come out of hospital and I refuse to shower her standing up as she is 84, has no balance or muscle tone - very unsteady.THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANYONE WHO IS A LITTLE UNSTABLE IN THE SHOWER.I am a nurse and in my many years have showered many people - an excellent product. Well done to the designer.

Great chair my shower cubical was a bit to small sadly

Sturdy and easy to use for a large walk-in shower. Seat tilts back so can be difficult with coccyx pain.

Very practical

I had to buy a shower stool/chair when I was moved, temporarily, into another flat while works were carried out. I decided to treat myself to this one because I have ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia, so pain, difficulties moving, & fatigue, means showering is a real struggle. Being able to wash my nether regions whilst sitting down is a bonus.

This really is an excellent design and you can just see by the level of detail that this has been manufactured with, that the users comfort, ease of use and practicality are at the heart of the design. I purchased this for my elderly dad and he has said that this really has transformed the way he cleans himself, and he is also less reliant on me helping him.My dad already has a chair in the shower as he can't stand up and shower, and I have to help him with almost everything as the design of that the chair is similar to any other foldable chair and it didn't really cater for someone who wanted to sit there and still be able to wash and clean themselves.This has got to be the biggest benefit that this chair offers, that now my dad can sit there safely and be able to clean himself, and especially his private parts, fairly easily thanks to it's 3D groove design and the fact that he can clip the shower head to the frame of the chair using the shower clip that is provided. Also he doesn't have to rely on me to pass him the shower head each time he needs it, and that clip can also be moved to either side of the chair. The armrests enable him to grab onto them and pull himself up when he wants to stand, and the backrest enables him to lean backwards when cleaning, without the fear of failing off. The chair is also height adjustable and it's made from a very light aluminium alloy that is waterproof, rustproof and still very durable. It can take the weight of a person up to 23 stone, so it should cater for most people.Thankfully my dad has his own private shower room especially built for him and he has enough room for that chair in there as the shower room was built to accommodate his disabilities. This chair is fairly wide so it takes up more room than an ordinary chair without the 3D groove would, but if you have to share the shower with anyone then the chair can easily be folded up and put to one side, and just as easily folded back out when needed.This chair is quite expensive, but for that extra bit of independence and dignity that this has given to my dad, it's absolutely worth every penny.
