Did not work for my 2020 MacBook Air with M1 chip
My husband and I have the same Apple MacBook Air. His charging block seemed to have stopped working so I bought this one since it had great reviews. I got it within a day, thanks to Amazon shipping. I tried it with his charging cable but the laptop did not start charging. In fact, the left prong sparked as I was plugging it into the outlet. I tried it with my charging cable with my laptop and it did not work either, but sparked the left prong. But surprisingly, his charging block started working again so this item went back to Amazon for a return since it did not work for us.
