It was nice to have this hotel lock. Whenever I am at a hotel, I worry about people finding a way in that shouldn’t. This gives you that extra piece of mind. I was able to use it, but did not try to see if someone could get in. No one did get in so that’s great. It also comes with a nice carrying bag.

I like this portable/travel door lock as it strengthens the already installed lock of any door and makes forced entry that much more difficult. The added security you get with this lock gives you peace of mind knowing that your door lock has been reinforced with the added locking mechanism. The metal of this lock seems to be of great quality and very sturdy. I use this lock when I travel and stay in hotel rooms just to add a bit more security and safety. Great product overall.

THE LOCK FITS INTO THE DOOR BETTER THAN MOST. I FIND THE MAGNETIZATION OF THE CHAIN TO BE OF NO HELP, I WOULD SUGGEST USING A THICKER CHAIN IN PLACE OF MAGNETIZATION. I'VE BOUGHT A SECOND ONE BECAUSE THE FIRST CHAIN SUFFERED A LITTLE DAMAGE THE FIRST WEEK. WHILE NOT NECESSARY TO THE LOCK, IT DOES HELP KEEP IT TOGETHER. SO STURDIER CHAIN WILL HELP PRODUCT.
