I have used this type of water heater in the past and paid three times as much as this one. Very easy to operate with instructions and all actions are straight forward.The water storage area is simple to fill and the whole device looks attractive and good quality.The selection of temperatures is easy to use and the whole device and its actions are well thought out.My Wife detected a slight taste to it initially so I did a full cleaning routine, which turned out to be easy to carry out and it resolved the issue. All new kettles have an initial odd taste at first.My only suggestion for improvement is to offer a deeper stand and water catchment unit as there are a few drips and if there was an attachment to raise the cup stand there would be less splashes. But do not take this as detrimental as it is a superb water heater.Highly recommended.

Very happy with the water heater. It is efficient and easy to use. 4 litres is a good amount. Quite and fast to fill cups very good that it just does set amount and switches off. The variable temperature for the water is great, it means you can get the tea and coffee at optimum temperature to make a good brew.

Item delivered to me on 26th March ‘25 and I was very pleased with the product. Unfortunately it started playing up about a week ago, not dispensing the correct amount of water or at the right temperature. Then started making a terrible noise and no water was being dispensed at all. Thought I’d descale it as I live in a hard water area but didn’t make any difference. Then started dispensing water from the underneath. Return window closed 3 days ago so unable to return so looks like it’ll be for the bin. Total waste of money and literally lasted a month. Don’t bother!

I have always had the steel ones that needs deep cleaning and you have to keep your finger on the button while it is pouring. A big pain to empty and refill between going on holiday, This one is so simple to use and clean. Just a clear tank of cold water at the back and it heats as it pours. May be a little slower than the others but when you know the capacity of the cup or mug you are using, you can literally walk away while it neatly pours itself. Someone on here, who said it needs cleaning after every use has obviously not understood the very clear instructions. It does not. I love it as with the touch of a button you can select the temperature and another for how much you want poured out, I find about 400 for a mug about ideal , depends on size of your mugs., and temp 85 perfect for hot drinks, you can have it at 90c if you want it hotter. This will save electricity. You can turn it off after use, no worries about water going cold. I have used it to add hot water for super noodles before cooking , for custard or gravy or just for topping up hot drinks too, If you think a mug or cup may overfill if you selected wrong setting. Just touching the lock mode will stop it . I have mine set up where I only have to touch the unlock mode and then the amount for my needs. Just 2 presses and that's it. It will stop automatically unless you press lock which will over ride it and stop. Mine did say item was white. But was more like a light creamy colour, which is ok. All in all I would Give my bear a big thumbs up and give it a well earned 5 stars. I am even considering taking it on holiday as it is whisper quiet and you do not get that horrible boiling the water stage which drowns out everything. Another big bonus is the water tank lifts off in a second and is so easy to keep clean. I honestly would not go back to the other kind now. I love my bear.

We have now used this for almost 8 weeks and have barely used the kettle. Absolutely perfect for singles or couples and the machine is so simple to use. I honestly thought the stored water would be kept permanently hot but it only heats the amount you have requested. So if 300ml is the correct amount for your mug of tea, then that's the amount of water that will be dispensed heated to your requested temperature. So convenient and I am pretty sure that this must reduce my electricity use as I estimate that we have not boiled the kettle approximately 400 times since purchasing this 8 weeks ago. Love it and its stylish and reliable.
