Excellent! It gave me a little difficulty installing other than that works perfectly. I love it. I like that you can use your own doorlock and open it with your own key. Yo can also share provisional entry code. It let you know is the door is open, and closed automatically. God bless them! And you too!

I installed this lock on a multi point lock-equipped door, against the manufacturers disclaimer. It works perfectly.

Hard to set up no deadbolt i wouldn't buy again

Lock works well, but keypad is slow unlock the door. The app works well- but don’t think the keypad is going to be a long term option if you buy this lock. A key is faster than the keypad.Battery life is limited. First set of batteries lasted a little over a month.

I am very pleased with my Yale August digital locks that were easy to install. Battery life is better than expected after reading other user reviews. I also really like the Yale smartphone app (using an iphone 16) that makes it easy to add and remove guest codes as needed. This is a great product. Just be sure that the deadbolt lock you use it with is compatible (August has a list of locks that work with it on their website). Generally, most center keyed deadbolts work but those with offset keys (such as some Kwiksets) don’t. And remember to ensure that the deadbolt slides smoothly in and out of the strike plate. My installation required some adjustments but not much of a problem to overcome.

Never unlocks in time with auto-unlock enabled on my phone (using a Pixel 9 Pro XL). My home wifi is reliable and there is hardly any latency using any of my other smarthome devices. The included wireless keypad has a poor connection to the lock (and mine is installed just on the other side of the door) and I have to hit the button a few times before it will actually lock the door. The fingerprint sensor is also unreliable and always takes a few tries to recognize my finger. Most of the time, it would be faster just to use my key to lock/unlock the door. Also there is no remaining battery level reporting for the lock itself.

We have been using this smart lock for over a month. This is the third smart lock we’ve tried and it is by far the best. It was easy to install and set up. The fingerprint operation works well as does the keypad. The only quirk we’ve noticed is you can’t unlock and re-lock within a few minutes. I’m always forgetting something when I leave the house and will run back in to grab it and come back out. The lock won’t engage if you unlocked it shortly before. We can still lock it from the app if it doesn’t lock right away. The WiFi connection has to be within range as well. We have Starlink with two extenders so we can cover our entire home so that isn’t an issue. We like this lock so much we bought another to use on the front door.
