Truth be told, I didn't know what it was before I ordered it for review.Chaste tree berries are used widely in Germany to treat hormonal issues, like PMS, irregular periods and breast pain. No scientific evidence confirms that it does anything for those conditions, though. And there are some serious health risks, especially with pregnant women. And it's an unregulated supplement in the US.There is a good article on the Cleveland Clinic's article "What Is Chasteberry, and What Can It Do?"As for the price, it's about average.⭐️1 star — I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars — I don't recommend it: has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — It's passable: it has some faults, but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars — Product quite acceptable, and it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — Product that I totally recommend.

This bag arrived well sealed and was fresh. I brewed about a tablespoon of loose tea for a cup and the resulting tea has a slightly peppery soothing herbal flavor, which I sweetened with honey. I had read this is a good tea to deal with cramps, though I wouldn't know if it has any effect like that.
