I got a tummy tuck revision Nov. 2020 and I wish I knew about this product when I had my surgery. I’ve been using this tape for 2 months now (started Aug. 22, 2022) every day for 23 hours a day and 1 hour off when I workout. My scar has definitely flattened drastically ( I had a hypertrophic scar) my scar is so flat and soft now and the dark purple color has gotten close to my natural skin tone. I wish I could’ve taken a before and after. Consistency is key honestly. It sticks well and it stays on! Once I’m out the shower and dry the silicone sheet is the first thing that goes on before I put on any lotion to make sure it sticks and stays on for 23 hours. This is my 3rd purchase now. My method basically is: I take it off before I workout, I wash it with soap and warm water and let it dry for an hour since I’m away at the gym so once I’m back it’s dry and ready to be placed back on once I’m out the shower. I use the same strip for a week. I just repeat the same method I just mentioned above. I definitely feel confident being naked since my scar is flat and the color is not dark as before. I shared my results with 2 of my closest friends and they couldn’t believe the big difference this silicone sheet has done for me. They were shooked lol! I really thought there was no solution to my ugly scar until now. I couldn’t be happier. I will continue to use this product until I’m happy with the results I want even if it takes me up to 6 months to get every bit of purple off. I definitely recommend this product. I waited this long to write a review because I wanted to make sure this product works and wanted to give my most honest experience. Nothing happens overnight you just need to stay consistent and you’ll start seeing results.

A year ago I got an arm lift surgery that left a pretty bad scar. It was raised, dark colored, and in certain areas it looked like it was turning into a keloid. I had purchased Scar Away strips, I used them for 2 months and wasn't seeing results. It was also very expensive, so I gave up, I stopped using it. Last month I decided to try again, but researched different products. I came across Mepitac. It was so cheap, I had to at least try it. I've only been using it for a month now and I am noticing a HUGE difference. I've been getting compliments on how much better the scars are looking. I am so happy I found this product. I never write reviews but I had to for this one. I wish I had found this a long time ago, who knows what my arms would look like now! I'm assuming you'll get better results the sooner you use it on your scar, but with my surgery being a year old, I'm still see amazing results! For my scars I can get 2 usages on 1 arm per box (my scar is long though). The strips might be reusable but I don't reuse them. I leave one strip on for 3 days straight, shower with them on, careful when washing that area, and then throw it away when I'm done. When I was using Scar Away the strips would come off after 1 day (usually while I was asleep) and would not stick back on so that's what made them a huge waste of money. Extremely happy! If I have another surgery I'll make sure to stock up on these in advance!

I use this product on my face as I am a medical student and study A LOT! Therefore I am constantly touching my face and tend to break out. So i got this to help prevent touching/picking and to help increase the healing of my pimples, which it does a great job at. The only down side is you can not use multiple times compared to the cheaper scar removers as it does not stay on as great on a second use. That is my only negative thing about the product. I wear it over night sometimes and it remains on my face (if it is my first time applying that piece) and when i take them off in the morning my face shows decreased markings and decreased discoloration (from acne/picking at my face) Definitely will order again and recommend it! I only gave it four starts since it is not really all that re-usable.
