This is definitely a big upgrade from the stock head unit that came with the 5th gen RAV4's. The quality is superb. Installation was really easy. It looks intimidating at first but its really straightforward. I love how big the screen size and how everything is touch screen. It looks more cleaner. Sound output from this Android stereo is noticeably a lot better. Another thing that i really like is, the wireless Android auto or Apple car play. I dont need worry anymore about phone cable not connecting to the head unit and keep disconnecting my phone. Another hidden feauter that I really like since We camp a lot with our RTT is the Gyro scope feature. It will come in clutch whenever we need to level our vehicle to setup camp. Now the CONS. First, for some reason i cant get any radio station to work its all static. Another one is, the artist and song name is no longer there by the dash abive the steering wheel which is really minor. Lastly, I didn't noticed that this unit is not Satellite radio compatible. I have a subscription for Satellite radio since its very useful whenever we're off grid. But aside from that, I'm really loving my new Android car stereo. I would definitely recommend this if you are shopping for one.*Update 2wks after the install*Radio is working now! It was my fault that I'm not getting any stations or radio channel because i forgot to plug in the radio antenna. Everything works great i even plugged in my USB flash drive to watch aome videos and updated my wallpaper!

Pretty straight forward install. Everything is much better than the stock one. Best thing about it is that it automatically dims at night. I had an after market stereo in my rav4 that was $200 more than this one and it didn't auto dim and drove me nuts. Android auto works pretty good but can be finicky but has been working great now for about a week. Microphone quality isn't the best and for some reason I can only be on a phone call for about 15 mins before the Bluetooth cuts out but the company is helping me with that. I'm definitely keeping it though as it brings my rav4 into 2025 finally. I'd recommend this. Even if you don't use android auto the stereo it's self is loaded with features and has its own GPS built in.Update: I recently traded my rav4 gas xle in for a 2019 rav4 hybrid xse and I wanted to confirm on here that it works perfect in a hybrid just in case someone else is looking to install in a hybrid. Stereo still works very well months later enough so that I installed it in another vehicle.

Installed on my 2029 RAV4 base model, the speaker harness pins dislodged. Wished they use better quality sockets.

I ended up returning the radio because I could not get the radio stations to pick up clearly and the Car Play/Bluetooth stopped working after about two weeks. Installation was fairly moderate, but not easy either. When working, the sound quality was good, but I have to think there was something wrong the antenna connection. People sometimes had trouble hearing me on calls, but I am a soft speaker. I did not like the GPS as everything was in Kilometers and despite reading through the manual, I could not find a way to change it.

I bought this head unit for my 2020 Toyota RAV4, I like my SUV however I never really cared for the small 7 inch screen. Having a12.3 inch screen is a beautiful thing! Because, I was so excited, I wanted to make sure my unit had the latest firmware update! It wasn’t until later that I read in the user manual NOT to update your unit unless something was wrong with it. Anyway, in the process of updating, my connection was interrupted, and that what caused some issues to occur. I contacted the Roadanvi customer service and they provided me with excellent troubleshooting advice! Although it took a few attempts, we were finally able to resolve my issues. The customer service team were quick to respond to my every message, which put my mind at ease! The Apple CarPlay is awesome on this unit as it connects very quickly with a strong signal! The screen resolution is superb! I can’t say enough good things about this head unit! Thank you Roadanvi

The unit looks awesome compared to factory.You can look up pros and cons on the posts.There is a YouTube video that can walk you through the wire installation makes it very easy to install.But for the price, it should work perfect.Sound is awesome make sure you have it set up for you speaker configuration or it will sound bad.If the rear camera doesn't work change the video connector on the harness.Bad FM reception unless I missed something. Sometimes it disconnects from my phone? ThenIt's hard to reconnect. The ( back button) for song doesn't work and will change the app . Also something happened to the "Lane assist " works when it wants to.Some people complained about the yellow warning lights on the rear mirrors not working, actually mine now work with sound.Video is beautiful for movies.Over all looks great but software is clunky, for the price it should work perfect.Will updated if things change. I would suggest a fiscal volume knob on the bottom.

Was working good for a few weeks then the screen started working bad, the sound does not work it’s not clear, screen go on and off by itself not happy I can’t return it I tried to contact the provider but not luck 😪

I have a Toyota RAV4 2019 XLE Premium and this unit fits perfectly.It's definitely an upgrade. Image quality is crisp and everything is working so far.Installation was very straightforward and easy, it's all plug and play.I couldn't get my reverse camera to work but after digging through their forum,make sure to connect the CAMERA IN (yellow cable) with the CAMERA VIM (yellow cable), don't remember the exact name but it's camera something. After connecting those two, I was able to have the camera work. Also make sure C wire is connected to C1 or C2. Mine came connected already.
