Overall this is a nice shelf to display any number of things. Yes, it works great for small trophies and plaques and hang medals, but you can also use it to display other knick knacks and hobbies. That being said, it works very well for the odd-shaped medals that you want to show-off, since there's a groove on the shelf. I do like the hooks being at different heights, so they stagger the medals when hanging.Two tier shelves that allow more storage space for putting things, which is perfect for the budding athlete. This isn't sport-specific like other display shelves, so it's better in my opinion.Easy to assemble and my particular shelf looked great out of the box. Takes a bit of thought to install, but if you're going through the effort of getting this, you're going to measure-twice, cut-once anyway.

This shelf was really easy to assemble, with very simple instructions and clear pictures. The wood material is basic and very light weight. The paint is of decent quality, and there were no scratches or chips. The shelf unit is bigger in person than I expected, with lots of room on the second shelf for mid-sized trophies and collectibles. I like the slots in the top and middle shelves, as my son has a bunch of medallions - you can stand those up in the slot. The slots also serve to keep items from sliding forward off the shelves. I also like the fact that the hooks are staggered, so you can stack your items, or put shorter things in front and longer ones in the back. The placement of the wall-hanging hook is good for keeping the shelf more stable on the wall, so the weight of items put on the top shelf help hold it there. There are a ton of hooks, easy to handle what my son has now and others he may get in the next couple of seasons. The unit is strong enough to handle 4 of his heavy trophies, as long as they are placed in a balanced manner across the top. He just can't brush against the top of the unit, or they topple over. (Hang it high enough, and that becomes less of a problem.)I also like that this unit is not "labeled" - there are other versions of this that are sport-specific, with encouraging slogans or pictures of the sport. This is more versatile, as it can handle any kind of collectible, or sport-related awards, or ... anything. The price is competitive for this style, but I find that a bit steep for the light-weight quality of the wood. I would have expected something with a bit more heft at this price point.

Too many pieces, no instructions.

My 7yo wanted a way to display his trophies and medals and this works out. It's more of an industrial look but he's thrilled with it and is proud to show off his medals and trophies

We use this for holding art stuff, and it does its job pretty well. The double shelves provide a lot of storage for our various supplies, and the hooks are great for hanging ropes of beads and ribbons. It's made a great and should last a long time, but it's kind of plain and isn't going to win awards for beauty. I knocked off a star because there are more affordable options out there if you look for them.

This product is not bad, but it is not great either. The design of the hanger is easy to build, but not very sturdy until it is installed. The height and spacing of the hooks are not symmetrical, so there might be a quality/control problem with this product. The hooks are on the smaller side of things. It holds trophies well, but doesn't hold ribbons with medals on them due to the small hooks. Installation is not completely easy either. for these reasons, I cannot fully support or endorse this product.

Love this! My son had all his medals kind of scattered around and trophies in cubicle not out on display.This is such a great way to organize and showcase medals and trophies.The top shelf is great for taller ones and you get two rows of hooks so plenty of medals can be hung up.The top row of hooks is uneven on my shelf, however once everything is hung up you don’t even notice.I like it and will end up getting another one soon I’m sure ☺️

This medal hanger is not bad, but at $39, I expect the quality to be better. It came with a piece of wood chipped. The hooks are not aligned - with different heights and spacing. The hooks are also very small. While it holds the medals, larger hooks will make you feel the medals will stay on more securely. Easy to install? Yes, it's easy to assemble the shelf, but it's not easy to hang the shelf. You have to get the distance of the nails perfectly. It doesn't provide a pre-measured paper you can use to drill the holes. You'll have to measure the distance and height yourself. The nails that came with it barely fits the holes on the back of the shelf. So, again, perfect measurement is required.Between the difficulty of hanging the shelf and its quality, I just couldn't recommend this product.
