A capacious & useful piece of furniture!
This is a slightly belated review, due to various circumstances.I have to say that I'm very pleased with the assembled result. I have a fairly big CD collection, but this absorbed a pretty good portion of that. When I initially unboxed it, I found that one of the sides of unit was damaged & unusable - presumably done in transit - so I immediately got in touch with Watsons and they couldn't have been more helpful, a replacement part arrived within three days!I've assembled items similar to this over the years and this was one of the better ones to do, with a better instruction sheet than most. All the pieces fitted together without any problem and didn't take too long either, The finished result looks good and does exactly what it says on the tin (or box!).I'm well pleased with it, but would offer just one little tip to any buyer: the amount of wood glue that comes with the kit isn't too generous, so I'd suggest buying an extra tube of the stuff from Amazon or your nearest DIY outlet. Other than that, the job's a good 'un!

Pleased overall
Sturdy, easy to assemble (better with an extra hand).Only slight problem is the super sticky labels on every part. Taking far longer to remove those than it did to put the thing together.I haven't even glued mine but it's standing well

Nice looking, solid and good value.
I like this item. It's solid, all the pieces were there and it looks good. I bought two and it was much easier assembling the second one having already done the first. Dislikes - it is repetitive having to assemble all the little shelves, there is not enough glue and the little labels were annoying to scrape off each piece. Minor really when the end result is a good and useful storage piece.

Poor quality product
Bought this rack in the belief it would be sturdy , easy to assemble and of reasonable quality. In my opinion it isn't what I expected. It was extremely difficult to assemble as it wants to come apart when you get to placing the final pieces. When it is finally assembled it doesn't feel very stable . I had to add some additional screws to the side panels in order to make it more stable and stay together whilst finishing the assembly.

Top Quality Unit
I rarely leave reviews, but feel I need to for this great CD storage unit. This was easy to put together, on my own. The finished item looks really great and is genuinely top quality. It looks fantastic and has swallowed up all of my CD collection. Absolutely delighted & highly recommend. Deluvery was quick; indeed, the pack arrived well ahead of time, in the one-hour slot I was promised. Great seller and great product!

Stickers, stickers, stickers!
OK, so it took two of us two days to put it together - I expected that because there are so many pieces to it. But what makes me madder'n a dog poked with a stick is all the damn STICKERS attached. Since they all had F printed on, I guess they were meant to show which side is the front, duh. Guess what? It's the side that LOOKS like the front! No stickers needed! Now we come to getting them off. 46 stickers which are NOT easy-peel. Try getting them off with your thumbnail and they leave torn bits of paper (as well as the glue). I am about to try a hair-dryer to warm the glue, but don't hold your breath. Those stickers were such a dumb idea that I'd be amazed if the designers kept their jobs.

Solid and compact, good value for money
Naturally with so many parts it took quite some time to put together but all parts were clearly labelled and went together easily. Result was an attractive and sturdy unit at a reasonable price. My only criticism would be that the pigeon holes could do with being a few centimetres taller as they will not accept any cd that is even a few millimetres bigger than the standard plastic cased cd.

Excellent quality product.
These self assembly CD racks came with idiot proof instructions. Every single piece came with an identifying sticky label attached. Each of the little shelf pieces requires a dab of glue and four dowels to be knocked in. That's a lot of dowels! The little bottles of glue supplied were fiddly so I used a big pot of Evostick wood glue. It all went together slowly but easily. The only issue I had was getting all the sticky labels off when construction was complete. A very laborious, fiddly process which needed better fingernails than mine! All in all, I'm very pleased with the new space for 1000 plus CD's.
