Waist fan keeps me cool
At 245lbs, this unfortunately doesn't fit me. I wish it had some extension pieces that could be clipped in for a larger size. That said, my wife wears this and it helps her so much on hot days. The cooling plates really work, and the airflow hits her really well. She can customize the speed that she wants, balancing with the noise it makes, which isn't much. The battery lasts alld ay for her.

It works okay for the price
The media could not be loaded. The Ice pad isn’t secured properly on mine and came off every time. Refer to video for example

Good but small
The fan is good same with the ice packs but the size says 40in waist it’s not. It’s like a 34in - maybe 38in waist.

Definitely works
Worth the money on this! Definitely a great value for those hot days doing yard work, nice air flow and it does keep you cool! Rechargeable, lightweight

41”, maybe 42” max waist size, does not stretch, ice packs are just there
I thought this was a neat idea when I saw the listing. Having worked with computers I interpreted the description of the cooling pads as being similar to a heat-sink. I thought the fans would be drawing heat from the pads to take advantage of the direct contact with the skin, so even if the airflow doesn’t cool you down much, the “cooling plates” would still be a few degrees cooler. This is not the case. The ice packs are just plastic clipping onto plastic. No metal fins are visible within the unit and there’s about ¼ inch of plastic between the fans and the cooling pads, so the thermal properties are mostly insulative, not conductive.Further complicating things, I couldn’t adjust the band to be large enough to put on. I had to tie a cord to both ends just to try the thing. There is no give or stretchiness to the straps, so it was difficult to reposition and was uncomfortable moving around with it on.Wearing any shirt, even just a t-shirt I could barely tell these things were on if not for the noise. I had to take off my shirt altogether to really feel the airflow. That helped a bit, but that’s not really an option in a lot of situations. It might work a little better after working up a sweat, but the fitting issue prevented wearing it that long. The ice packs worked for about 25-30 minutes after freezing them overnight. After that they didn’t really feel like they were drawing much heat away from me. They are just ice packs sitting there, not part of any “cooling system”.The most I got out of the fans was taking them off and aiming them at my face.I did think the straps were an interesting design. If the clips had been more standard maybe I could have found an extension, but they do seem like a decent quick release and easy to re-adjust (if you’re thin). I was impressed that the wire that must be embedded in one side of the strap is so well hidden. I would have to cut the strap to figure out where it is. The only reason I know it’s there is that both fans work. I’m guessing they used conductive thread, but they hid it very well. The module with the charge port is 58 grams heavier than the other, so I’m guessing that’s the side with the battery.I don’t think I’ll ever wear these things since they don’t fit. But I’ll try to build a better strap extension to give it another try at some point. If nothing else they are fans. I can set them on a table and get some air flow. The battery life was more than enough to test them out, so that might be their saving grace. If the listing had mentioned the size limitation I wouldn’t have selected them. “ The belt is adjustable, one size fits all different body shapes.” is not an accurate description.

Pretty good for the price
It does blow cool air, not cold air and the power is pretty decent. It's not that quiet but not crazy loud or noticeable. It definitely helps with the heat and does it's job

Very interesting cooling belt. Works well
I originally thought that this would be similar to those neck fans that hang around your neck and blow air on you. Those only work really well when you also have a wet bandana around your neck. This design is completely different and really quite cool… (did you catch that?)The idea is that you wear this around your waist either inside or outside of your shirt (works a lot better inside your shirt). Then you turn it on and it blows air. The kicker is that there are ice packs attached to the belt to cool down the air. If the packs are frozen then it blows very cool air.At zero degrees the packs freeze in about 20 minutes in the freezer. It has a usb-c charging port and takes about an hour to recharge depending on the charger.I’m really impressed with the amount of cool air that this blows. It is very portable as it is battery powered. It’s not uncomfortable (but very comfortable either). They could probably put some padding on the belt. The only negative I found is that you can’t turn both fans on full. They can both be on low, and one can we on full, but not both (maybe I just haven’t figured it out yet)Even at low it feels great because of the cold packs.I would definitely recommend this for anyone that is going to be outside on a hot day!

Not worth the hype
If you’re an average size individual, the waist fan won’t fit comfortably. The cooling pads do not last more than 5 minutes. The air flow is absolute garbage.
