Aid for listening to TV
This is the most powerful of its type and has helped my very deaf 93 year old mum to hear the tv very clearly and she has not yet turned it up fully

He can hear!
My father's previous device stopped working (he is hard or hearing with hearing aids). This was a hope and see if it works purchase. I charged it up for him and he can hear well. I now do not have to listen to the TV at all now. Brilliant! Well worth the money.

Worth it
Great hearing quality for television especially films. I bought these for my sweetheart who finds the earpieces a tad uncomfortable but loves the stethoscope shape rather than over head band earphones.

When other hearing aids won't do!
This product is exactly what I have been looking for.My dear Mum is 80 & due to physical disability, can't use hearing aids. Her tv volume was so loud it was becoming a problem with neighbor's.Plugs in directly into speaker port on tv with sound transferred wirelessly to ear phones. The volume control has large buttons & easy to use. The unit is very light so you can actually walk around with them on.Recharged on base station overnight.Early days, but so far it's A+.

Uncomfortable
It was a mistake to buy this and a bigger mistake not to return it right away. Mainly because of how uncomfortable they are. Before any film is over my ears are hurting and it is quite a heavy central unit between the earbuds and this moves with your head and sometimes snags on clothing pulling the buds out of my ears. Yep. I shoulda sent them straight back but now I'm stuck with 'em. And they stopped working one day and I was pleased. Because I wouldn't have to suffer them any longer.

Great Audio Performance, But Uncomfortable Design.
The Sennheiser RS 2000 Wireless TV Headphones work on a really great idea - the idea that as your hearing needs change, you may find that background noise is impacting upon your ability to hear the TV as well as you used to. They are also great if you are watching TV in bed and one of you wants to sleep, whilst the other is still watching the end of a film. So, I can see that these headphones serve a good purpose, for people with those specific kind of needs. They are easy to set-up. You just plug them into the power, and the aux cable into the headphone socket of your TV. It is a shame that the device does not support RCA cables, or optical audio. Thus far, however, my experience was going well. Problems began as soon as I tried to listen through them. Firstly, they aren't the most comfortable design that I have ever come across, despite the 'ergonomic design'. I appreciate that they alleviate the temple pressure that conventional headphones place upon spectacle wearers, but the consequence of this is that the weight is now all hanging off your ears. An average film these days seems to last in excess of two hours, and that is a long time for the product to be dangling from your ear canals.Secondly, I could hear a low static noise when no media was playing, or when it was playing very low. This was not due to a ground loop, as I tried installing an audio transformer. I admit that it is possible that the low static noise was coming from my other equipment, and at least it was not an issue at more normal volume levels. The headphones have another feature, other than volume. They have a left-right balance, which allows you to adjust the balance according to your hearing needs. This is a very useful feature indeed.I did have one other issue with the headphones, which may well not affect the majority of users, but is definitely worth a mention. The ear plugs are made of some kind of rubbery-looking material, which for some reason causes an uncomfortable burning sensation in my ears. This happened every time I tried them, and I even used wipes to clean them, in case there was some kind of chemical residue left from the manufacturing process. Having extensively researched this, I cannot find mention of this happening with similar products, so I think this will only be of note to people who have known allergies to certain materials. In terms of audio performance, I cannot say that the headphones are in any way poor. The audio quality is good, and I would recommend them for both the premise, and for the way in which they perform. Sadly, the comfort issues make these not so great, in my opinion. I would definitely encourage you to consider how sensitive you may be to the weight, before investing in these otherwise great headphones.Overall, 5 stars for audio performance. 1 star for comfort.
