Does what it’s supposed to do for a great price!!

I purchased the Akkermansia Muciniphila Probiotic + Prebiotic Supplement from Datum Labs in May 2024, and it had an expiration date of February 2027. I am a firm believer in probiotics. This formulas includes a prebiotic as well. After using it for a few months, here are my thoughts:What I like:Gut Health Improvement: This supplement has improved my digestive health. Improved leaky gut after approx. 3 months of use. Markedly less bloated. I also incorporated more fiber and more dietary polyphenols. I am also taking Codeage polyphenols to help feed my gut. This supplement is well priced. Additionally, I appreciate the vegetable capsule and cellulose. The avoidance of titanium dioxide which is used to whiten products and/or food, weakens the stomach lining over time... making the inclusion counterproductive to my consumption and healing goals. Recommend the supplement

The instructions say it will take a couple of weeks. I haven't noticed any change.

We use more than a couple supplements. It's not always possible to know how well each is working individually when taken with others. Over the years I have learned to use the label and the ad to judge the quality of a supplement. I use not only what IS there, but also what isn't there.Akkermansia Muciniphila Probiotic + Prebiotic SupplementPROS:Made in USA is in the ad and photos. I do prefer 'Made in USA' on the label.Only one capsule per serving.My Akkermansia research shows this to be a very interesting beneficial supplement.CONS:Ad states made in USA, label states manufactured by Kendri Labs and lists US address. The phrase 'Made in USA' does NOT appear on the label. That is the only phrase I trust.$30 for 60 makes this 50¢ per serving.Uses vegetable cellulose as a filler. Cellulose (cellulose gum, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose) is refined wood pulp and is used as a texturizer, an anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, a thickening agent and a bulking agent in food production. It may cause loose bowel movements and or have a laxative effect. A 2021 study found that long-term consumption of cellulose gum can alter levels of beneficial bacteria and nutrients in the gut. This supports previous animal study findings that suggest prolonged consumption of cellulose gum may promote chronic inflammatory conditions, including colitis, metabolic syndrome, and colon cancer. It serves no purpose to the consumer in a supplement. NONE.

So far these have been beneficial..easy to swallow, no yucky aftertaste, I believe these have been helpful for what I take them for and are therefore effective.
