I love this for toddlers because I can literally spray it on them as they are running away from me and I don't need them to stand still. We primarily use this for touch up sunscreen when they are busy playing so the fun doesn't have to stop.

The Coppertone SPORT KIDS Continuous Spray sunscreen does a pretty good job of protecting from the sun. At SPF 50, my kids don't burn playing outside and the protection seems to be good for an hour and a half or so without needing to be reapplied (unless there's water involved of any sort, then it needs to be more often). It's effective, and a whole lot quicker to apply to larger areas (arms, legs and back) than lotions. Of course, you'll only want to use this in a ventilated area, preferably outside.All that said, as the instructions mention, this is not to be sprayed directly at the face, and while I guess you can spray it into your hand and then apply to the face, we just prefer to use something a bit thicker there (something that's hopefully less runny). Claims of "no tears" are great and all, but some children seem to cry just getting water in their eyes (and truly, sometimes water does sting a bit, depending on the type), so I'm not sure how much "no tears" ever really applies (better to avoid that outcome and keep product out of there eyes entirely, as much as you're able to).Overall, this is a good product. The water resistant formula is effective and protects from the sun as advertised (as long as it's applied, and re-applied, as-directed) and it hasn't caused any kind of skin irritation for my girls (who are decidedly eczema-prone).

I use this myself as a grown man. I live in Florida and perspire quite a bit in the summer heat and humidity, especially doing yard work. Apply ahead of time according to the directions and I’ve found that it performs as promised. I also like that the scent isn’t baby-ish or “tropical” (like bananas or coconut). Add into it that I find the price point to be less than that of comparable products marketed for adults and it’s a win-win.

It's hard to get a squirmy kid to hold still long enough to put sunscreen all over them. This spray makes it so much easier and quicker! You can rely on Coppertone to provide a quality product and this one is even water-resistant - I am not about to say water-PROOF exactly, as I simply re-apply if the kids have been in the water a long time. Not taking chances on sunburns, not when I can maybe prevent them from having to fear melanoma long into their futures.
