I bought these candle wicks because I was fed up with throwing candles out with loads of wax left in them because the wick had finished. I fixed one of these wicks in a candle container that had loads of wax left, put the container on the log burner to melt the wax down. Once the wax had melted, I let the wax set and then set light to the wick - worked a treat. No more throwing away perfectly good candle wax. Easy to use, value for money and would definitely recommend

Like other reviewers, I was sick of throwing away candles that had plenty of wax left in them because the wick had burned out. I had 4 large candles that I wanted to melt down to make new candles. I melted those old ones down by placing the jars into hot water in a saucepan. I then grabbed my clean jars, put the new wicks in and poured the wax in and left them to cool overnight. I managed to make 8 new medium sized candles. The wicks are great and the little metal holders that come with them are really handy. Can't recommend enough!

Ease of use

This is a handy pack of wicks for candle making, I love making candles and it's always handy to have extra wicks, these stick to the bottom of the jar or container you are filling and they are easy to cut to the length you need.These burn well and and not too quickly, they seem to be good quality and are pre waxed. The length works well for me and 50 should last a long while, recommended.
