Clean it before using! *read Update*
The media could not be loaded. Be careful before placing this on any surface. I noticed when I took the protector out of the package my hands had black on them. Rubbing my hands over them came away dirty. Thoroughly clean them before use. Lucky I noticed it before putting them on my beige couch. Had they stained my couch at all I would have been really pissed.I do love the color of the wood grain and they are perfect for protecting the armrest while providing a flat solid surface to use.**Update 9-10-24**Don’t let liquids sit on it too long. Had a mugof hot tea on the armrest protector and the bottom of the mug was wet. The water soaked into the wood and the covering on the wood started flaking off. It appears it is made of chip board and easily soaks up liquids and swells. Now it is lumpy and the surface is ruined. Would not recommend buying this.

Great protectors.
I really like these, I have an oversized couch and it fits well. I’ve been using them for a couple months and they pretty durable.

Terrible smell even weeks later
They function reasonable well though they slide off the arm of the leather couch with little effort. They smell very strongly of chemicals even weeks after being in use in our home.
