This is only to be used as a replacement for the M series of the Enphase Micro-Inverter as it’s what Enphase supplies as a warranty replacement, so if you have a M series inverter that is not performing, contact Enphase to see if the warranty (25-years) and if not in warranty - then this is the Micro-Inverter. Now if you wish to add more panels on the old M series system, this is the inverter to use. The one offered is equivalent to the M-215, Enphase also has one to replace the M-250 Micro-Inverter also. I ordered these to add more to my system, as these seamless work and also communicate to the existing system. The M series is not comparable with the new IQ series, but this is a modified IQ series that only works on the M series system. These were priced better than the same unit at the Enphase Store.
