clean, simple, and surprisingly strong
These book ends are clean, simple, and surprisingly strong. I was tired of flimsy ones that tip over every time I grab a book - these actually stay put. The adjustable feature is great for tight shelves or when I just want to keep a few notebooks upright.

Are the intermediate dividers really necessary?
Mostly very good, but intermediate dividers reduce it to three sub-sections which are not always ideal for efficient packing. I haven't taken tin snips to them yet, but I am very tempted.
