Jordan River Natural Dates Medjoul - 1kg

Always (and we get a box roughly every month) reliably large, moist, succulent dates. Delicious, without fail.

These Medjool's are little GEMS of deliciousness! Not dark in colour, however, very MOIST,soft and oh so yummilicious! Way too yummy to use in cooking.. PURELY FOR EATING ON THERE OWN. You will NOT be disappointed.

These dates are so tasty I have no words to describe. No regrets buying it. They are excellent, love them x.

i assumed that with something called Jordan river dates that they would be from Jordan. On inspection i discovered that the name is just a way of hiding the fact that they are from the Occupied Territories (what they call israel). Returned and bought some genuine palestine dates instead.

Don’t be discouraged by the self righteous reviewers around here.These dates are indeed Israeli, the farms are in the Jordan Rift Valley which is controlled by Israel but run administratively by the Palestinians themselves since 1992 and is home to 65,000 Palestinians who are getting far better infrastructure and working opportunities than their compatriots in Gaza for example.Not only that Palestinians work at Jordan River farms but also Jordanians who cross the border in agreement with Israel.The company makes a point giving livelihood to underprivileged women from the area, who are normally not given equal work opportunities at the Palestinian Territories.The company needs to ‘disguise’ its Israeli origin so that ‘keyboard warriors’ who understand nothing about Israel and the area won’t come between the local population’s right to work and provide for their families.The dates are sweet, probably the only one in the region that are produced under Western standards and HACCP and Global GAP. So for all those who wants to boycott Israel - please go ahead and buy products from places that are not supervised and enjoy your sewage watered products.Again these are great; My only criticism is that they can be bought for £10 per 800g in local Arab or Turkish supermarkets.Highly Recommended!

Don’t listen to the fake negative reviews, these dates are delicious, best I’ve ever tried

Enjoy these delicious dates! While eating them please don't worry at all that they were grown by Israelis on illegally occupied land in Palestine. It was only the United Nations who made this judgement according to the 4th Geneva Convention but what do they know about anything. The Geneva Convention was signed after the Second World War but that was years ago and who cares about that anymore.John Jordan
