I brought this set on a whim as I have never contoured before. I was basically paying for a practice set and honestly I am actually pleased I did.Even when I was thin I had the dreaded double chin and now post children I have it more, so I wanted to try out the chin contouring craze I see. This kit has worked brilliantly, honestly I am so impressed with the contouring, it's really improved my confidence. To add to this I have really rosey cheeks, nose, chin ... Whole face ... This kit coupled with some basic foundation works to cover it, I even use the red/pink to add colour in the right areas which helps smooth out my skin. I was concerned with the sparkly highlighter though but actually it is not horrendous it's really suitable. To top this off to this my skin is ultra dry, flaky and sensitive to just about anything, even E45 hurts my face! So far I have had no reaction from this product and my skin hasn't gone red or itchy.I realise I sound like a promotor feeding lies but I assure you I am a genuine person who highly rates this kit. Definitely worth the few pounds to give yourself some confidence!

As a mature woman, this trio of items supplied a few comedy moments as I tried to get to grips with exactly where - and how much to apply of - these shades.I initially applied too much, not entirely in the right place, and had to re-do it a couple of times until I got the measure of these.I finally managed to achieve a more subtle look - which was more appropriate for my age - but felt very impressed with the results. For me, I will only be using these items in the evening, but suspect women a lot younger will happily use them day or night.Now I've got the measure of these (and moreover, was happy with the results...eventually) I believe £9.99 for x3 beauty items is great value for money. I cannot comment on how long they last during the day, but for my one night out (to-date) wearing them, they lasted well and did not irritate my skin.I hope this helps.

This set is really good for contouring. The sticks are easy to apply and the blend. The included brush is a good quality too. The shimmer stick in particular is great, a really nice colour and just the right amount of shimmer to give you some sparkle without being over the top.
