Not an electrician nor do I have any history in installing these but managed to do so with relative ease. Only thing to keep in mind is you will need a fairly deep backing box which of course doesn’t come with the socket. Overall though have installed 2 of these around a month ago and not had a single issue.

The usb and usc ports do not work. It is interesting that they would only work when you push the switch on for socket. Why?? I dont understand. Anyways they dont work

These are my first black plug sockets, I've got white and grey around the house, but these two match the newer decor in my home office. They're great looking, glossy, modern and include a USB-A and USB-C port.The power output of the USB ports is rated higher than many other sockets I've seen which is a huge plus for more power hungry devices. It's not by any means "fast charging" but it's a lot better than the sockets I own around my home already that tend to share 2A across two outputs.One massive drawback is how much the back of these plugs sticks out. These are by far the largest depth sockets I've come across and I know there's a few places in my house that they just wouldn't fit. I don't know if the extra depth is attributable to the slightly higher power output or something else, but you will need to double check against whatever wall you're putting these into.
