Focal SUB P30 12" 250W RMS 500W Max Single 4-Ohm Car Subwoofer

This is the best subwoofer I have ever heard. I put this into an SC430. It's the third one I tried. Th factory woofer could not easily be heard over the other 8 speakers. I replaced it with an 8 inch infinity woofer. That one was loud, but most of the bass went into the trunk. The trunk vibrated louder than the bass producing the cliche "one of those louds cars" sound, but the quality was not there. With the focal woofer, most of the bass, which is very clean, goes into the car with minimal trunk vibration even at maximum volume. It's strong enough to shake the side view mirrors and the rear view mirror with the windows up at 10 out of 40 on the volume. The max volume I can stand is 18 to 20 depending on the music and it can still go louder without distortion. I'll post a video later.

Did not even make it 3 years of uncontentious light use.Bought it September 7th 2015, it came in perfect condition, i mean nothing wrong with it at all. Today as of June 19 2017 it is completely dead, i mean this thing is in immaculate condition, i had it in a sealed box, nothing up against it and stationary in my trunk from sliding. I don't even use my car that i had it in as a daily commute, maybe drove it twice a week to go get food, and i never "Bump" hard as the cops here don't like that ha. Pulled it out to check it for damage, nothing. No split wires, weak connections, no burning smell like it shorted, nothing! Hooked it up to my home stereo after i pulled it from its box and....dead for sure. Sadly i can not recommend this product if you expect it to last. But if your fine with that the fidelity of the sound is pretty darn good.

Don’t need a lot of power to get it moving. Replaced a Sundown SA-12 with this. Not as loud but sounds way better.
