I wrote to Multi Seal an email with the following question, regarding the difference between FlatOut and Multi Seal HD 2500: What is the reason you don't use the 3/4" sealing capability on all your formulas? Is there a downside to it?Multi Seal replied: "Depending on the formula depends on the amount and sizes of the fibers used which determines the size of puncture the formula will seal. Our flat out does up to 1/2" , which generally works well for personal (retail) customers. Or we have our commercial line that we have a formula for ballast filled tires which does up to 1/2" our Pro HD 2500 does up to 3/4" and our Armor 3500 does up to 1 3/4". As far as why we don't use the 3/4" on all formulas some customers do not need punctures sealed that large so we have a range of formulas for different needs.They are not all the same, it is going to depend on what application you need product for will determine which formula is best for your situation."This answer is not especially satisfying. Why wouldn't a customer want added sealing capacity? I could give an explanation, but it would be a guess.

Outstanding product

When it rains it pours, and I’m glad I had this product for that day. My tractor takes a beating around the farm so I knew I need a good quality product.

Day 1. I had put flat out into my fat tire e-bike. I’m headed to work at about 25 mph when I ran over a sizable piece of glass. The speed of the seal after removing the glass was instant. Performing exactly as advertised. The hole was sealed 100 miles ago and I haven’t lost any air since.

I have installed it in a wheel that had a slow leak. After installing flat out, it has been holding air. I can only hope it last.
