Good in clay soil
I have tons of hard clay in my soil, or I should say I have a little bit of soil in my clay.I used it along my fence, where I planted my Carolina Jessamine, and the two-pound bag seemed to be just enough. It's my understanding that gypsum powder helps break up the clay and improves the dirt. This is the first spring I've had the vines, and they bloomed like mad and grew by leaps and bounds.I've planted there in the past; however, the addition of the gypsum powder seems like it made quite a difference. It was $13.99 for the two-pound bag, and I'm very satisfied with the performance and I feel the price was worth it.

Small but a little goes a long ways
This is a small packet of Gypsum powder for the price point that its at. So its a bit expensive given the small quantity you get with it. I find it useful for my houseplants in order to control moisture. Its a nice alternative or additive to the traditional perlite mixes as it provides Calcium as well. Although the packet it small a little does go along way in either a yard or in houseplants. If you want a good quality gypsum powder and are not too concerned about the price this is a good option.

Robust soil amendment.
This is a really fine gypsum powder. So be sure to wear a mask and gloves when using it. You can wet it down before use to minimize dust inhalation. A little goes a long way so be sure to follow the directions. I use this along with a few other amendments to really have rich soil. So far it has not disappointed.

As described
This gypsum powder is the thing I needed to perk up my roses. It comes in a reclosable bag which is really good since you don't use very much at a time (unless you're farming acres of land or something). There aren't any instructions but if you're a gardener and have done your research you'll know when it's needed. This gypsum powder works as advertised.

1 lb for lawn is too less
This is slightly misleading title as 1 lb is very less for even 1000 sq ft lawn for adding gypsum as soil amendment. You can add it and it is same gypsum you get at your local big box store, but this is too less for garden.
