Affordable.
For its price, it couldn’t be beaten. However, the pipe measurements are whacky since this system is manufactured in China -they were probably used with the metric methods of measurements . So if you’re trying to make modifications and you are patient enough, this kit is the way to start for a beginner DIYer.The system works the way as is. I made my own modifications as I added a water chiller in the system.

Look great and was easy to assemble, no leak at all
i've been using hydro for a while and this compete with the expensive set at a fraction of the cost, only thing is that i would not recommend to use heat to fit the hose but just some soapy water and push it in tight to not have leak, if you heat the tubing it will take shape of the fitting but will cool down and not be water tight or not as it should be and can result in leaks. recommend to anyone who is already using or thinking about starting hydroponic, the high water flow allow the water to circulate well and keep my plants happy. Very well design system.

This 4 pot RDWC is good
I have had many types of setups. This kit was exactly what I was looking for. I thought I was going to have leaks everywhere and be disappointed. Turns out this is a well thought out kit. Everything has rubber grommets and pipes going between each pot. The supply and return lines are not leaking at all. It took me about an hour to connect the pots and leak check it. It came with a detailed picture that was worth a thousand words. The only thing that worries me is the drains are kind of small for my application. The roots can get in there and clog things up sometimes. This kit comes with a screen to prevent that but it will probably still get clogged. I am going to find out and report back soon.

This product leaks and is of very poor quality
Not good product. The hoses are all really difficult to connect and the pipes all leak. I followed the instructions that were very poor as well. Returning it now

Wouldn't buy again.
Missing level indicator tube, more problematic, hole in reservoir was cut too low so now the pump can't match up. Should have spent more and not had all the problems. Also, china pvc is different diameter than USA pvc such that they can't mix and match.

Complex, but solid materials and good design
I've been growing for 10 years probably and I've had several smaller hydroponics systems. I also have a larger aquaponics system that I built. This is the largest hydroponics kit I've ever had and it's really nice. It is not easy to assemble and part of that may be due to the pathetic instructions, but it's a good design and the parts are all seemingly long-lasting and heavy duty. It's not clear if this was designed for the outdoors or just inside but mine is outside. I guess the main benefit from this type of system is the reduced water usage, but if you can reduce the need for grow lights, you're doing better. I may put a "greenhouse" cover over it. They include a pretty robust air pump system, which seems like overkill with the pump working constantly and the dripping from the basket into the reservoirs, but I suppose it can't hurt. I'm running out of plugs. Next level will be one of these kits with a green house and a solar panel and battery so you can put it anywhere.I don't have any yield yet, but it does seem like a major production for four plants at a time. They should be the best plants ever, but even then it may not be the best value.
