Thin gasket.
The gaskets with this are so thin that doesn't hold the lid in place.

This product comes with a gasket for the rectangular plastic part. this makes it fit tightly without any play. I reused my original nut and bolt that seemed to fit better and also better quality than the one provided. I recommend this instead of the BATHGURU hinge, which did not have gasket.
