I'm thoroughly impressed with this inverter!!
I LOVE this 400w Pure Sine inverter! I work out my car a lot and have always used a DC-to-AC power inverter to charge my laptop, iPhone and drone batteries when I'm on the road. This Bestek inverter has completely blown the other ones I have used out of the water! It is amazing and doesn't seem to have any of the problems that the other inverters had. Here are some of my experiences:1) A lot of the other Inverter brands share a LCD display screen that shows the voltage information, etc. Those inverters would frequently beep at me for seemingly no reason and they showed that the car's voltage was in the 11v range when it was NOT (I tested it with a Fluke multimeter), even if the car and alternator were running. It didn't matter what brand I bought (Everstart, Jupiter, etc) -- If they had that display screen, they were all the same JUNK. Those models can also get quite loud when the fan turns on. My new Bestek 400w pure sine inverter has never "beeped" at me and it always provides consistent clean power. I don't often hear the fan come on and it is relatively quiet when it does.2) The instruction manual for one of the other inverters stated that if you are using your inverter for recharging a battery (like a drone battery, etc) and the charging unit gets very very hot, you need to use a Pure Sine inverter instead. This Bestek 400w inverter IS a pure sine inverter and it works just fine for charging batteries.3) I was curious to really put this inverter to the test so I tried connecting my 12" Infinity BU-2 Amplified subwoofer from my home stereo into the 110v AC outlet on the inverter. I played some bass heavy music and this inverter handled it with no problem. I played some insanely bass heavy music at a louder volume and it did pop the 15A fuse for my car's cigarette lighter, but that is to be expected. A car's cigarette lighter in not supposed to support over 15 amps through it's wires. The speaker demanded more than 15A for an instant and the car's fuse popped, by design. I replaced the fuse with a 20A fuse and it hasn't popped since. I know, it isn't a good idea to exceed the design limits of the wiring but it showed me that this inverter IS capable of powering higher powered devices. You can hard-wire more powerful "automotive auxiliary power outlet" directly to the vehicle's battery and then connect the inverter to that one instead.4) Having a USB type A and a USB type C higher powered charging port is GREAT!Its been about three weeks and I am still very very happy with my purchase and nothing has gone wrong as of yet. I highly recommend this product and no one paid me to write this. Enjoy it! :)

Solid and works
My experience with Bestek products has been great. Customer service is quick, direct, and helpful. My inverter had an issue and the replacement is working great! So far so good. I mainly use it to plug in my laptop and some chargers, while I’m on the go. This inverter is small and portable and feels sturdy. I do recommend this inverter.

Awesome piece of kit
Excellent machine. 18 months of solid use at its mid-peak output range. Quiet as a mouse, hardly zero fan noise. Light as can be, and a true workhorse. Would recommend 10/10.

Functionality
We had a 12hr road trip ahead of us this keep our laptops and iPads charged. Works great wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Nice inverter except....
It is very well made pure sine wave inverter. Small in size and made of heavy metal (aluminium). However one drawback for me is that the fan runs all the time. Not like other inverter that kicks the fan only when necessary. It is not loud fan but when in quiet environment, it bugs me. Other than that, like I said well made product.

Initially… impressed.
I can’t speak to its lifespan yet, but initially I am impressed with the build quality and quiet operation. When I say quiet I mean QUIET. It’s much quieter than a 150 watt inverter I have been using. It’s also much larger. (See photo: smaller 150 watt is on top of this one.)Something to consider with an inverter is continuous watts. With nothing plugged in the readout on my “solar generator” ie power bank reads 7 watts and with the fridge plugged in it keeps a more constant 11ish or so watt output rather than the wild swings from 4 watts up to 80 using the smaller 150 watt inverter. Maybe that’s a benefit of sine wave technology? I have no idea.I chose this model because of its design. It just seems more “professional” and less gimmicky. It doesn’t have a weird shape and isn’t brightly colored. It looks like how an inverter should look. So far I am impressed and glad I chose this Bestek model over their other similar sized sine wave inverter.

cigarette port issues
not sure if it's an issue with my vehicle or if this caused it but the two that I have in the front of the vehicles stopped working. It's size make it so you can store it easily, but it might cause more trouble than it's worth.

Great so far
I had a 75watt inverter, but needed at least a 240watt for my laptop. I decided to get this due to the 400w size and being sine wave. So far this has worked great. I haven't had the need to use the supplied USB plugs. This would be great if the USB C was also a 100watt output in order to charge my laptop if I forgot the wall plug.7/30/24:I've been using this 5x a week for other lower power consumption items. Today I needed to charge m y laptop with the 240w power supply. This inverter was not working, it kept faulting with a red led. Reached out a few minutes ago to bestek to see what can be done before I request a refund.7/31/24:Finally got email back from bestek. I didn't realize that my car couldn't handle the 300w. My vehicle 12v system only has a max 160w output when radio is not in use and 100w when radio is in use. Per bestek I would have to connect the inverter straight to battery to get the full power of the inverter. Not sure if I'm going to go that route yet. So make sure your car can handle the power you are trying to get out of it.
