It's rad
I got a Mini Radio and thought the donut antenna was hokum, but the telescopic one was not picking up anything on AM. This one however is rad and works great so I'm enthused.

Reception on VLF-LF is Not Good, But It's Still Good At MW-SW and FM
This antenna is a great perfomer on the AM, FM and Sholrtwave bands, but it's not much of a great performer on the Long Wave bands since I could not receive my local NDB from Elizabeth City on 254 kHz or the other beacon from San Juan, PR on 391 kHz. The RF designer needs to come out with a Long Wave version of one of those tunable loop antennas so other listeners and DXer's can experience better LW reception, because this donut loop is not good enough to use between 10 kHz to 519 khz, believe me, I tested it, it's a no joy for LW radio use unless you're located in a very RF quiet zone area, and not an apartment. I used this loop antenna with my ATS-25x1 and my DX-286, not much of a difference on the low frequency bands, and the RF designer needs to make sure that the donut loop is more larger for the LW band. As for the other bands, the donut loop antenna system works great on the SW bands such the 40 meter band to listen to other ham radio operators, and also as for the MW (AM) band) you have to really move the loop antenna away from major noise sources to get the best AM reception out there as possible. As for FM, it can receive many the of local and semi local FM stations, but still it works well up to 180 MHz and maybe higher, but I did not test it yet using the RTL-SDR which I should in my next review update. After many hours of use, you need to recharge the battery before using it again.

This antenna is the best outdoor antenna for a portable SDR like my Russian DSP2
The media could not be loaded. Those who are negatively reviewing this are not using it correctly! Or there's a small chance that you received a dud! That's it! The video I share with you is how good it works Indoors! The 25 mhz clock is coming in so strong that it almost overloads at times! On night walks, I pick up clear and strong signals from the usual stations on SW with one great exception, they come in louder and clearer than any other of my finest radios that I normally use for night walks! These work exceptionally great and are well worth the $30! Don't listen to the naysayers! The usual with them is that they expect far too much out of just about anything they buy! Lol You'll receive, in the U.S., SW ,Air, FM,AM, PB, and Marine quite well! It is now my Go To night walk radio! And I live in a city full of too much RF! It works! Try it for yourself! I think you'll very much like it!

This antenna is remarkable!!!
It is 100% essential that this antenna is used properly with an amplified Hi-Z sma. If not, this loop will not be powered. As far as i can tell, this is a micro magnetic loop antenna. There is about 9.3 feet of copper wrapped within the board and is tuned with a range switch and potentiometer. At first I thought that this antenna was 100% garbage as there was no possible way it could have been receiving 50khz inside of a steel/brick building under fluorescent lights...in broad daylight!!! But...it did. The tuning effect of the potentiometer is perhaps not linear which is why i was unsure if it was pulling real signal. I waited till sundown and tried again and was BLOWN AWAY!!!I've used 120' EFHW antennas and not picked up as much as this tiny loop could. Ive used mini-whips to deal with QRM and found those only ok-ish for 120m and bigger. How this loop can tune what it does is proof that its a magnetic antenna...for less than 20$.So far all of the new Mala DSP2 antennas have been nothing short of remarkable.

Antennas did not work for me but Goozeezoo offered a full refund
I was not happy with the performance of these donut antennas and Goozeezoo was kind enough to offer a full refund. While the antennas did not work well for me, they might work better in your environment and with your particular radio. Thanks to Goozeezoo for very good customer service.

Doesn't Work
This just doesn't work on any band.

Not a loop, no directionality, no performance improvement, no good!
This is almost useless! It overs little value over the radios whip antenna. The tuner makes little little difference in the radios performance. I have tried it on several of my portable radios and it is equally poor. I bought an RF amplifier to help it out, but the noise increased, but not the signal. I can quantify the amps improvement with a better antenna, but the loop just doesn't work. It's not really a loop, no directionality, you can see the end of the coiled wire. So false advertiseing, no performance improvement, a single wire will out perform it. Don't waste your money!
