Very nice oil heater
Very nice oil heater, heats 120 sq ft room (8 ft ceiling) from 63 to 70 deg F in less than 1.5 hours when set at 80 deg F. Attractive, easy-to-read large white LED touch screen digital display with an additional highly visible vertical color bar (changes from amber to deep red) that provides ambient room temp indication compared to set point. Digital display and color bar look fantastic against the black display surround.Radiator includes a remote control, which is a VERY nice feature. I've tested the remote's range to 30 ft, but its likely farther. Remote battery is easy to access and replace. There is a convenient handle on the back top side of the radiator for moving it around the room. The handle is thermally insulated from the heated fins, hence, always cool to the touch. There is a tip over feature that shuts the unit down when it becomes unbalanced/falls over; I tested it and it works.Well written, clear instruction manual provided in U.S. English. The manual advises to run the power at max (95 deg F) for at least two hours in a room with windows open to vent the space before first use. There is an odor (...possibly the curing of the black paint or from the heat transfer mineral oil in the sealed unit) that must be dissipated. I ran the unit at full power for six hours in my garage before first use. The odor is still present at start-up (after many uses), but is short lived/goes away quickly now. This may be true of all oil radiators, since I recall a similar odor from a unit I purchased decades ago.Several minor downsides (...for me):1. The unit puts off a slight odor when it first starts up, lasts about 10 minutes. More intense odor if set point is 85+ F.2. The display uses a light sensor and turns off when the room becomes dark. It can be turned back on...but only temporarily...by using the remote. A low level of ambient light directed at the display will keep it on.3. The remote control buttons are not backlit, hence, impossible to see without turning on the light.4. The six foot length power cord exits the bottom of the display at the front of the unit, rather than from the rear. Hence, the cord is always visible and slightly inconvenient as it takes up length to plug it in. Although it would resolve my issues, I hesitate to run the cord under the unit (to exit from the rear) because it may be damaged from contact with the heat of the fins on the bottom om the radiator.Hope this helps...

Worth every penny.
I got this to heat an office in my detached garage. It is so efficient and nice. Size over all is easy to move and heats my room great. Quiet and no problems yet. Kids knocked it over one day and dented a fin but it’s still working great.

Great heater
I needed it so bad because it was cold in the house and my furnace was on the fritz and wouldn’t have the furnace until six weeks. This is a good product. I recommend it to anybody.

Better and cheaper
This is the fourth space heater I have tried. I have had two oscillating heaters. One forced air heater, and this one. All were rated for the same size room. Before I go on with the Review, I will tell you that I removed a full star because while you can operate this thing from the panel on the heater. It will drive you absolutely crazy. If you lose remote, you have a serious loss on your hand. That having been said, the remote is simple and inconvenient. The first three heaters did a decent job of warming the room when they were on. As soon as they turned off the temperature dropped. And it was constant cycle of on off on off on off. I tried locating the heaters in several different locations. Against the wall made sense for the space heaters so they were only heating what was in front of them. I tried center of the room just pointing at me. Which was great except when I had to go to the other side of them to go to the bathroom. And none of the space heaters could properly heat my bathroom.I almost sent this thing back. There is definitely a learning curve to figure everything out. You could easily think that the device is turning off at certain times. The display icons can be misleading. However, I have a brain. And I can learn. So where to put the heater? I tried several locations. What I found best was to treat it like the radiators. I grew up with from the time I was in a crib about 65 years ago. The radiators in my house said about 2 inches from the wall. That’s where I put this thing. It is amazing. It keeps my room warm to the point where I can walk barefoot on my warm floors. The display turns off. So for those of you for whom a bit of light can be annoyance this would be a great feature. The fins do get warm to the touch. Unless you decide to grab them and hold tight, they won’t burn you. But they do get warm enough that you don’t wanna put your hands on them. The noise level is zero. There is a very, very, very faint click when it kicks on. But I don’t see how that would cause anybody any problems. All in all, I would highly recommend this over traditional space heaters. In addition to all the features I mentioned above, it uses about 2/3 of the electricity than the other space heaters were using.
