I just opened the package and saw the most beautiful knives Ive ever seen. The handles are comfortable to hold, the Damascus design is superb and they are very sharp. Gorgeous!

These are incredible Damascus type Knives that are not made in Japan. So far I am extremely satisfied with the weight, the ease of handling, the style/looks, and the sharpness of each blade. It handles and cuts as well as my Japanese Chef Set that I had fof 25 years for 1/8 of the cost. I am not sure what process Seken uses to make the knives, but the look is outstanding. The wood handles have a great fit and feel. I was so impressed with this set that I bought another set for my step daughter and a kitchen set for our home. I think everyone that buys a set would be extremely satisfied.

This Dynasty collection of Senken knives is exquisite and I’ve had my eye on them for awhile. There are 7 knives that come in a beautifully padded box: a check’s knife, bread knife, cleaver, Santorum knife, boning knife, utility knife, and paring knife. After using the same inexpensive set of kitchen knives for the past 20 years, it was past time to upgrade. You don’t even know how dull your old knives are until you use knives like these, that are sharper and of much higher quality than I’ve been used to. What a difference! This set of 7 knives will handle anything I would ever need to cut, and I cook a lot at home. I would definitely recommend these knives for serious and not-so-serious home chefs!

Handles were beautiful, however I didn't care for knives. Returned. Received merchandise on Oct 28th. Still have yet to see refund. Amazon customer service said I'd have to wait 20 days. Misleading when they say you will be receive refund upon return, and still 3 weeks later there is no refund. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I would not recommend.

Cautions: As advertised, these knives are extremely sharp! I highly recommend learning knife skills 101 online to self-train on safety and etiquette for using a sharp knife to cut vegetables and meat in the kitchen at home for everyday use. My wife was extra cautious and still cut herself on the first try!! I have yet to try all the knives, but I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to posting additional reviews down the road.
