Heavy Duty Cotton Webbing Strap, 1 or 1.5 Inches and Colours, 5m (Ecru, 38mm)

Very robust webbing ideal for bags. Despite how strong it is, it is also easy to sew through. I used it for the handles whenmaking a set of travel bags.

I'm using this cotton webbing to gradually replace the synthetic webbing on the corners of my shade sails, as and when the synthetic webbing breaks. It is so much stronger than the synthetic version! This cotton webbing is far thicker and much more robust - you definitely need to use a thimble if sewing a double layer by hand! I have no doubt that the cotton webbing will last for years, instead of the few months that I had from the synthetic version. Well worth the money!

A really nice, tightly woven, stable heavy cotton webbing. Nice to work with. Better than I was expecting for the price.Colour wise, the batch I received was towards the greener end of khaki - verging on olive drab, which is fine for my purposes but worth bearing in mind if you’re expecting something closer to camel.

You'll need robust scissors to cut it. However, don't let that put you off - it sews beautifully, despite the thickness, and it looks really good on my handmade crossbody bags. I'll certainly be getting more in the future.

Good quality and strong. Used to make towel 'hoists' to help a dog after an operation. Make grest handles and are very strong.

Excellent quality cotton webbing. It is thick and easy to work with. I am using this to make bag handles. Highly recommended.
