Wonderful set
I bought this set mainly to drill precise holes for walking canes that I make. They make an excellent flat bottomed hole. Only thing is that with the smaller sizes you have to back to bit out more often to keep it from stalling. Backing it out clears out the drilled wood.

Sharp sturdy bits
Great value bit set. I have used these bits for furniture making with walnut and maple, both hard woods. These bits have held up well to the job and cut a clean hole. If drilling straight through, you need a sacrificial board on the bottom (as with any forstner bit). Bits are sturdy and sharp. Would recommend.

What's to dislike,super sharp and lives up to the name ,someone said they are overpriced,I don't think so atall,you always get what you pay for. You can't go wrong with t these bits of kit. With regards and respect John Hayes.
