This product went on like a dream! It smells lovely, not like the usual biscuit smelling tan. It’s not got an overly orange tint to it either. This small bottle covered my full body with loads left! Defo recommend!

As this was the daughters inauguration product into the world of self tanning, we chose this product based on the fact that it stated 'starter kit' and assumed, that it would contain detailed instructions and how to apply and use the product, but apart from some basic instructions printed on the inside of the box, we ended up taking advice from online videos.Thankfully, the wife being a former cosmetic consultant and professional makeup artist, insisted that our daughter performed a 'patch' test before applying the mouse, and this worked out to her benefit.Whilst the daughter had no intention of going the full 3 hours for the darker effect, as she just wanted to eliminate that post winter paleness, she agreed to wash off after 2 hours as indicated on the box.Applying the patch test to the foot, following online guidance, and after washing and exfoliating, she applied the mouse, which other reviewers have stated has a pleasant aroma, to the bridge of her foot and left for the said two hours, before washing off.The after effect was indeed impressive, the following morning it was easy to see which foot had the solution applied, and didn't look fake or streaky as I was expecting, for a first attempt, pretty flawless, and even the wife was impressed.So why only 4 stars and not the full 5, well after 10 days, its looking pretty rough, partly due to the fact that she swims a lot, and have only just found out that chlorine in the pool will hasten the fading effect, something which isn't mentioned on the box, but possibly understood by someone who has used the product before.So as a starter kit, it really does need 'foolproof' instructions, together with 'do's and don'ts', even if it just a QR code that would lead you to questions and answers on their website.Overall, the product was easy to apply, the outcome was better than expected, and the daughter liked it, just needs to do some more research before applying to her face and upper body.

This travel pack is ideal to take away on holiday. It is neatly packed and the tanning glove comes in handy. Would definitely recommend.

Daughter took this with her on holiday and loves it, looked like she'd already been away for a few days.Read the instructions twice then apply, take your time and you should get good results.Seems pricey for a starter kit but it's a high end brand and does give good results.

Thought this would be a really handy size to have for travel and trips where I may need a little tan top up.The bottle is a cute size and definitely more bag friendly, but still quite large if doing hand luggage only on a flight.Unfortunately this would have not proven useful if taken anywhere as the box only contained the tanning spray and no applicator mitt! Obviously you can’t apply with your hand, so rendered the whole set unusable until one was obtained to go with it.I have tried the tan with a different mitt and found it to be a little streaky. Will try again with a different applicator mitt and ensure I make smoother strokes to try and avoid again.

The media could not be loaded. The Mitt:Velvet on one side, thin cotton on the other. Velvet mitts are by far the best type to use when tanning and this one was perfectly fine to use with the mousse. Having said that, it was a bit “crispy” the morning after as it had dried off.The Mousse:Comes out brown and when you rub it on the skin you can easily see exactly where you’ve applied it 👌🏼 There’s no smell and it rubbed in quite well. This small bottle is enough to cover your whole body. I’m not sure whether it’s suitable for the face as it doesn’t say, but I can’t see why not.The Result:I’m not a fan of the wash off tanners. I mean who has that kind of time that they can apply it then go and take a shower 2 hours later? I decided I wanted a deep tan so that meant leaving it on for 3 hours. However, I got distracted and ended up leaving it on all day. My skin turned a lovely dark honey colour, and it was very natural looking. I didn’t see any colour transfer on my clothes, however I was wearing darkish clothing.I took a shower the following morning and I’m pleased to say that whilst the bottom of the shower turned brown, the colour remained on my skin. Ever so slightly lighter but still obviously there. The colour lasted about 3 days before I felt it needed reapplying.

This tanning set was perfect for trialling a new range of tan without having to buy full sized bottles.Firstly, the mitt is fantastic. It helps the tan glide on smoothly over your skin and makes it really easy to buff the tan into an even coverage.Most importantly, there were absolutely no leaks through to my hands. This mitt washes well and can be reused again and again.The tan is fantastic and develops in 3 hours max – perfect for avoiding fake tan on your bed sheets as it can be applied and washed off in an evening. I found leaving the tan on for 3 hours gave me a great, natural looking glow.I loved the colour when it developed and it was not orange but very natural and golden.Overall I was really pleased with this little kit and would definitely buy the larger bottle now.The little bottles were also perfect for taking on holiday as they are cabin sized! Ideal if, like me you don’t get a beautiful tan from the sun!

Love this. Brought this in my carry on for touch ups during my trip. Love how this goes on dark, so you can make it streak free. Don’t get scared if you look super dark for the first 3 hours, it washes away and leaves a very subtle color. My recommendation make sure you leave it on for the 3 hrs even if it looks dark. I have fair skin, and once washed off it’s great! If I wash it off sooner, it’s barely noticeable.

Love this! The color is perfect for my olive skin without looking orange or too dark! The perfect sun kissed skin. But if you want a darker shade just reapply again a few hours later.

I am very fair skinned and don't tan naturally, I only burn. I've tried about 5 self tanners now and look a little orange with all of them but this one. There's a learning curve to applying it to hands/ feet but that's true for all self tanners. I purchased the larger bottle after this small one was gone. It lasts about a week unless I go in a pool, then I do notice it coming off faster. It has the typical self tanner smell, but I don't find it overwhelming

I’ve used other self tanners from this line but this one is not overly noticeable and washes off in the first shower. Very minor colour change if that’s what you’re after. Would not purchase again

I’ve used many of the large regular St Tropez foaming tanners and they work amazing! I did not notice a speed difference with the express bottle and you only get 2/3 applications with the small bottle. Not worth it in my opinion
