Durable sleeves, but not my favourites
The interior fit of the sleeves is good - nice snug fit for Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The plastic itself is particularly thick - with the matte backs being rigid enough to preclude the possibility of "marking" the cards, pretty unimpeachable for tournament use.The matte finish also means a deck isn't going to slide around all over the place, which can plague some sleeve designs. Can't say I like the "anti-glare" transparent fronts, though. The cloudy finish actually makes the cards harder to read when they catch the light, because instead of having a reflected glare localised on the card - you get the entire surface being washed out by the light. When they aren't catching the light, the cloudiness of the plastic makes the cards, text, and artwork a bit dimmer and thus less appealing and legible. The other element that put me off is how much excess space there is around the sleeves margins - a good couple of MM of white plastic visible around the cards margins - including the lip where you feed the card in. I assume this is an attempt to make the sleeves stronger - and less likely to come apart at the seam where the two different plastics are joined; but that comes at the expense of convenience and tidiness. A couple of MM of margin on every single edge of the card does add up in terms of bulk. The leading lip of the transparent fronts is ever so slightly smaller than the backing - I assume this is to aid with inserting the cards more cleanly. Personally I've never had an issue with inserting cards into perfect-fit sleeves that have flush front-and-backs, and I can imagine the convenience the feature adds can become a negative once the cards are in and you've constantly got a slight leading surface to catch everything the cards rub up against - unless you were to fit an outer-sleeve.

Tight fit on YuGiOh cards
These sleeves are not as spacious as Official sleeves, but they're fantastic as long as you seat the card all the way into them.It leaves about 2mm each side of the card when fully seated, and they're almost certainly not able to move about inside the sleeve once in.I'd be careful when putting cards into them, as they're matted instead of glossy, so there is more resistance and you might bend a card if you're not careful. These seem much sturdier than the officially licensed ones though.

Used for Board Games
We use these for our campaign board games and they work a treat. All of our cards are in pristine condition and the sleeves themselves keep the card art and info clearly visible. The matt does impact the ease of slotting the cards in, but they feel nice to hold.Pros:- Sturdy sleeves that'll protect most standard sized TCGs- A snug fit! (also a con)- Have kept our collection in pristine conditionCons:- A neutral colour (rather than bright red) would be less distracting- A real snug fit (also a pro)- Opaque rear (so, if you play board games or TCGs with dual-sided cards, these will be a pain in the backsideOverall, if you're looking for that added protection to your collection, these work a treat!

Slightly on the large side for Japanese cards
These aren't bad for the price. The sizing is a little off though as they seem a bit wide for Japanese cards (which is what they're advertised for) leaving a bit of a gap, but a tiny bit too small for western cards (MTG etc). The matte finish is good on the back of the cards and I think these will work well to both protect the card and stop them sliding about when standing in a deck. It is ever so slightly milky though which does make cards tricky to read if the light catches them wrong.Overall not bad for a tenner, but there are better options available for the same or not much more.

Ideal for Yu-Gi-Ho cards and can be used whilst playing a session
Matt finish to both the clear front and the rear section means it has a nice feel\hold while playing and will not slide around and also stops glare bouncing off the front of the card (Secret-Rare..etc) type to show the colours of the card.Guard-it - 150 Matte Red Small Japanese Size Trading Card Sleeves - Premium Deck ProtectorsArrives in a plastic bag with each pack of 50 in their own separate bags. Ideal if you are starting out or looking to protect a session worth of cards and want to distinguish between each set and keep the other packs of 50 for later. The protectors are sealed along the 3 edges very neatly and checking on 1 full pack of 50, no issues or failed seals. All look and stack very easily.Inserting a card is fairly easy with no catching or force required. The matt finish on the back is very tactile that gives a reassuring grip that you will not accidently drop this card with sweaty fingers. Also removing the card is simple to catch the edge and remove. Hanging the protector upside down and swing it side to side or shaking didn't make the card fall out when I tried 10 different sets. This better than other clear versions I have tried on these cards. As shown in the attached photo, both the card and the description can be seen clearly through the transparent front window. Also you can see there is a slight gap around the edge of the protector from the card so you can catch the edge of this if you want to limit the actual handling of a card. Saying that though, the material is thick enough for the whole protector that your nails would not get through to mark the card in normal game play.If this appears in your search, I would recommend these straight away for Yu-Gi-Ho cards as they are now used to protect my decks.
