Love this container, very sturdy and the lid fits snugly, clearly marked measurements on the side makes for easy portioning.

They recommended a lid that doesn’t fit. Frustrating.

I don't believe these are polycarbonate - most likely polypropylene which is safer
Incorrect description? If you go to the Cambro website - only the container with RED markings are Polycarbonate - this is a dark blue marking which is polyethylene I believe. Polyethylene is safer (no BPA). Also, the lids advertised with this below the product DO NOT FIT. They are not the correct lid and I could not find a lid that fit unless I bought six (waiting for them to arrive to see if they fit. I plan to buy two more of these containers as they are on sale, so I will have the lids for those since I had to buy six lids.

Great for sourdough
I love using these containers for making large batches of my sourdough bread. They work great for the job and are easy to clean. Would definitely recommend!
